Smoky Mountain Getaway - Cabin Rentals in Townsend

From Highway 321 in Townsend, follow the billboard signs to Tuckaleechee Caverns. Turn on Tuckaleechee Road (Campers Methodist Church is on the corner), go two tenths of a mile, take first road on left which is Boat Gunnel Road. There will be a Smoky Mountain Getaway sign on the right side of road. Go down Boat Gunnel one tenth of a mile, look for the another Smoky Mountain Getaway sign on the left. Turn left in to the privet drive. As you turn in, the sign will be in your passenger side window. Go up privet drive to your cabin. Smoky Dream first, then Smoky Getaway, and at the dead end of the drive is the Hideaway.

From Highway 321 in Townsend, follow the billboard signs to Tuchaleechee Caverns. Turn on to Old Tuckaleechee Rd. Camper Methodist Church is on the corner. Go to top of hill and you will see another Church on left (Tuchaleechee Methodist Church). Turn LEFT on to Old Cades Cove Rd. right after you go past Church and cemetery. Go down hill to Davy Crocket Riding Stables. Turn left on to Dry Valley Rd. in front of the Stables. Go about a half mile you will come to a fork in the road. Stay to the RIGHT it will still be Dry Valley Rd.. Go a little ways you will go through a S turn, then a sharp right. Keep going through another S turn. After the S turn you will find the Macedonian Church on right. After the church on the left side of the road you will see the sign for Fish N' Bear and Anglers Retreat. NOW to find Mallards Rest, Angler's Retreat, and Doe Run. Don't make the turn to the left. Stay on Dry Valley Rd. about another quarter of a mile. And on the right side of the road. There will be a sign next to a privet drive. Saying Smoky Cabins and Laurel ridge. You will go down in to the woods a little ways to find Angler's Retreat on your left. Doe Run will be down the drive. A little further after you make the left turn in front of Angler's. Back on Dry Valley road, one driveway up, on the right side of Dry Valley road you will find Mallards Rest.
